Run out of Towels Again.

I am mother to two kids an eleven year old soon to be twelve-year-old daughter and a nine-year old son!  And I am wondering if I am alone in this but recently no matter how many times I seem to have the washing machine on I never seem to get to the bottom of the laundry pile and every time I walk into the bathroom the towel thief has been at it again.  So I avidly set the washing machine on non stop Go.  Do not stop just wash till you drop.

At the start of this weekend it was just out of control.  The utility room looked like a laundry with washing everywhere.  There were no towels in the bathroom.  And wherever I went in the house all I could see was more and more dirty washing!  Now the washing machine and I work hard at the washing each and every day.  Last week was no exception.  It’s the first chore I do when I wake and the last thing I do before I finally sit down at night.  But this weekend it looked as if the washing machine and I were lightweights and we had a big task ahead of us to catch up.  So the two of us set too and by the end of the weekend?  All washing was up to date, four baskets ready to be distributed to two adults and two children and the utility room was cleared.  Job done?

Not a bit of it by this morning?  Sink in the utility room full of washing.  No towels in the bathroom.  Is it me or is this normal?
