As I wrote in my last post my husband and I go away for a weekend in December each year to enjoy some “WE” time and for the kids to enjoy some grandparent time.
We always anticipate this weekend with great anticipation and this year was no exception especially as this year we were going to the very special Hideaway Experience in Angus. But it was made even more so as this was a project that Bright Light Marketing had personally been invloved with producing the Feasibility Report at the start of the project.
I have worked in marketing now for more years than I care to remember (twenty plus years to be honest). And in that time I have met lots of people with visions and great ideas about what they want to do with their current or future business.
But I have never yet in those twenty years worked on a project where I have been involved with the project from the very start seeing the architects drawing and sharing in detail the plans with Caroline and Ross. And then being able to actually experience the project as a customer.
From the moment I stepped into the Honeymoon Hideaway I saw words come alive as I viewed this special place for two and saw with my own eyes all the special features that Caroline and Ross had wanted. From the spa bathroom with its large bath for two, double showers and sauna. To the bedroom with a leather chaise long that I confess during our stay we both made a bee line to be the first to get to. The cosy living room with the wooden stove that you could also see from the bedroom. The well equipped kitchen tucked away. And piece de resistance the glass windows through out looking out to the patio, garden and the wonderful view across Angus. Not forgetting of course the hot tub!
The vision for the Hideaways is to create a romantic get away for two allowing you some romance, time and the chance to re – vitalise your batteries and that is exactly what has been achieved. We arrived tired, stressed and I was personally full of the cold. We departed re invigorated, relaxed and I confess all loved up! We enjoyed the piece and quiet and the added luxury of sitting in our own hot tub in Mid Winter. And as for the extra packages well that’s a story for another blog post.
